Day 01: Arrival in Colombo, overnight in Colombo
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and meet your private driver for a transfer to Colombo. Check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy a vibrant street food tour to sample local flavors.
Day 02: Colombo to Kandy, Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, overnight in Kandy
Explore Colombo’s landmarks in the morning before traveling to Kandy. Stop en route at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to see and interact with elephants. In Kandy, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic and take part in the evening blessings (Theva Ceremony). Overnight in Kandy.
Day 03: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, Peradeniya Botanical Garden, scenic train ride, overnight in Nuwara Eliya
Begin the day at Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, admiring its lush flora. Board a scenic train to Nanu Oya, passing tea estates, cascading waterfalls, and misty highlands. In the evening, experience a classic high tea on the Grand Hotel lawn. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 04: Nuwara Eliya to Bentota, tea plantation & factory, waterfalls, overnight in Bentota
Visit a working tea plantation and factory in the morning. Drive through “Little England” and stop at Seetha Amman Temple. En route to Bentota, enjoy scenic views at St. Clair and Devon Waterfalls. Overnight in Bentota.
Day 05: Bentota leisure, Madu River boat ride & turtle conservation, overnight in Bentota
Relax on the beach in the morning. In the late afternoon, take a scenic boat ride through the Madu River’s mangrove ecosystem. Visit a sea turtle conservation center and participate in turtle releasing with fellow travelers. Overnight in Bentota.
Day 06: Bentota to Colombo Airport, departure
Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your onward flight, concluding your Sri Lankan adventure.
